The Wade Bales Wine Society began in 2007 when Wade bought out his partners in The Wine Society, which was then, arguably, South Africa’s most exclusive ‘wine fraternity’.

From these well-established roots, the team at Wade Bales Wine Society has gone from strength to strength as we combine a premier service with the ability to source limited-release wines.

Assuring the very best

Wade Bales has been in the Wine Industry since 1992 and has completed a number of wine courses including the grueling Wine Tasting Academy in conjunction with the UCT Graduate School of Business and Wine Magazine.

In 2006 Wade was accepted into the Brotherhood of Saint Vincent – an annual award presented by Villiera Wine Farm in recognition for outstanding contributions to the Wine Industry

Today, Wade enjoys a close, working relationship with South Africa’s top winemakers which enables him to select the best possible wines on our customers behalf and ensures that limited editions are set aside exclusively for the Wade Bales Wine Society.

We assist and guide over 10 000 clients, from the discerning wine lover to Judges, CEOs and ultimately the serious wine collector and investor. Whatever your background all our customers have one thing in common – the desire to ensure the wine they buy, order, serve or invest in, is the very best.
